Websites for Visitor Attractions

At Refec we have been building websites for visitor attractions since 2011. We know how to build a website that your venue or charity can use to attract either new visitors or new members. Contact Refec today to start the process of updating or building your venue a new website.

A recent example of one of our websites for a museum

Quainton Windmill is one of the last remaining sail powered windmills in the UK. Their website was absolutely best by technical problems. The result was that visitor numbers were dropping, and there was a lack of new volunteers that the museum require to keep in operation. At Refec we conducted a thorough review of the existing site, and recommended a complete rebuild. We transferred the site to WordPress, and retooled a lot of the content. The end result is a visually striking website that uses the best of the venues photography. As part of the build we also created a Flickr page to host hundreds of photos that previously had been buried unseen on the old website. Naturally the site works perfectly on any device, is fast and very SEO friendly. The old site did not rank at all in Google for its own domain name, this is a cardinal sin, and the new website is now forcing its way up the all important Google Search engine Results page.
